(VIDEO AND TEXT) Ex-pupil of Jamia Naeemia throws shoe at Nawaz Sharif inside the seminary!

LAHORE: A former pupil of Jamia Naeemia (Abdul Ghafoor) has thrown a shoe at  Nawaz Sharif here today when he was about to deliver his speech at an event held to mark the death anniversary of Mufti Muhammad Hussain Naeemi here at Garhi Shahu seminary.

According to details as soon as the deposed prime minister was escorted to the podium Abdul Ghafoor, ex-student of Jamia Naeemia, hurled his peshawari chappal at him hitting his shoulder. 

The bearded man jumped in the air to rejoice the performance of successful shoe-hurling stunt chanting Labbaik Y Rasool Allah. He was handed over the the Police after a thorough beating. 

Nawaz Sharif stayed put and addressed the audience present on the occasion despite the incident. Shoe-thrower was roughed-up by ousted PM’s men and handed over  to the police alongwith his facilitators.

It is pertinent to mention here that just yesterday (Saturday 10th of March, 2018) a man doused the Foreign Minister with black ink.
