Van-bus collision leaves 16 dead in Balochistan’s Mastung

DASHT: At least 16 people were killed and several others injured when a speeding van collided with a university bus near Tera Mill area of Mastung district, Balochistan.

SSP Mastung, Sardar Rahim said that the employees of the university were inside the ill-fated bus.

Bodies of the dead, as well as the injured, were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta, he added.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi expressed shock and grief at the number of deaths in the accident. He prayed for the speedy recovery of all the injured in the accident and issued directives for authorities to provide immediate care and relief to the injured.
