Teaser of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Monsoon Shootout terrifies the audience

MUMBAI: Trust Nawazuddin Siddiqui to surprise you with his performances.

The actor, who has sailed through characters with grey shades like no one else, is back with Monsoon Shootout.

The producers have released the teaser of the film, and it goes without saying that Nawaz is the star of the 37 seconds teaser.

However, going by the look and behavior of this character depicted by Nawazuddin, there are flashes of deja vu.

You know you have seen it previously and if you cannot remember, let us help you. Recall last year’s release Raman Raghav 2.0?

The Anurag Kashyap directorial Raman Raghav 2.0 – which rotated around a serial killer! The crime thriller also featured Vicky Kaushal. Raman Raghav 2.0 received praises, and of course, left the audience shocked.

Monsoon Shootout has the similar effect. In the teaser, there is a scene in which Nawaz is murdering a person with a fork, and the following visuals are similarly horrifying.

Earlier, it was being stated that this film would rattle with Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai but along with the teaser, the producers announced the dates too.

The movie is evading a clash with Salman’s film by releasing a week earlier, on 15th day of December.

Directed by Amit Kumar, film is also featuring Tannishtha Chatterjee and Vijay Varma in the lead role.
