Real to reel: Pops Anil to work with daughter Sonam!

MUMBAI: For the first time, real life daughter Sonam Kapoor and father Anil Kapoor will be seen together in a joint venture, reported sources.

If the grapevine is to be considered, the duo will be seen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production titled Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, adopted from a hit track from Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala-starrer 1942: A Love Story.

The flick would be helmed by Vidhu’s sister, Shelly Chopra. In this connection, a source quoted Chopra as musing: “That’s a big thing. I am very excited about that. Anil Kapoor coming together with us to make Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, is just incredible. Anil and Sonam are both there in the film. I am really looking forward to it.”

However, officials are keeping a stiff upper lip apropos further details at the moment.

On the work front, dadzo Anil is all booked up with the upcoming project Fanny Khan starring actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Whereas, chere fille Sonam is hooked up with her next Veere Di Wedding.
