Rao Anwar, cop suspected of extra-judicial murder(s), asked to appear before inquiry committee at 11 tonight

KARACHI: Rao Anwar, the cop who is suspected of extra-judicial murder(s), has been asked to appear before the inquiry committee (formed to probe into one such killing) at 11 tonight, otherwise he will be arrested.

Though Rao Anwar’s  ‘encounters’ –  resulting into deaths of over two hundred people – have long been eyed with suspicion, the recent killing of Naqeebullah, 27-year-old boy from Mehsud tribe, has been publicized by the social media so extensively that the Supreme too took notice of the incident.

After the initial inquiry, it transpired that their was certainly something very suspicious in the manner the young man had been killed.

Hence not only Rao Anwar and his confrere had been removed from their posts but it seems that the SIndh Police had decided to arrest him and his gang.
