LAHORE: PTI took to the twitter to announce that its chief Imran Khan has married Bushra Manika (Wattoo, in her 40’s) in a simple ceremony held here at the bride’s residence on Sunday (18th of February, 2018).
Nikah was performed by Mufti Saeed in presence of Awn Chaudhary and Zulfi Bukhari who signed the Nikahnama as witnesses.

DG CAA appreciates services at Lahore Airport!
ISLAMABAD: Director General of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Hassan Baig Saturday visited Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) Lahore, appreciated the existing services at the airport and stressed upon the need to further improve them and bring them at par with international standards.
He said that providing world-class services and facilities to passengers was one of the foremost responsibilities of the Civil Aviation Authority.
He also visited operational areas and facilities like Radar, Control Tower, Runways, Apron and Passenger Terminal Building as well as the expansion project site, where he was briefed about the detailed plans of the project by the Project Manager Major Aizaz.
The CAA DG expressed his satisfaction over the progress of the project and emphasized on its timely completion. He directed the project team to prioritize the completion of approach roads in order to provide the general public easy access to and from the airport.
While speaking to the airport management, he said that completion of the expansion project would go a long way in providing world-class facilities to the passengers.
Earlier, Airport Manager Tahir Sikander briefed the CAA DG about different functions and facilities of the airport. During the visit of the airport, the CAA DG was accompanied by Airport Manager Tahir Sikander, Additional Director Works Ashraf Chaudhary, Deputy Airport Manager Nazir Ahmed Khan, Principal Staff Officer to the CAA DG Aftab Gilani and other airport officials.

Caretaker Punjab CM takes notice of bus hostess murder
LAHORE: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr Hasan Askari has taken notice of the murder of bus hostess Mahwish Arshad in Faisalabad and sought a report from the IG police. He directed to take legal action against the murderer and extended heartfelt sympathies to the grieved family.
According to details, a security guard named Umer Daraz, who used to earlier work for the very organisation, shot her dead in Faisalabad on 9th of June when she rejected his marriage proposal.
Umar Daraz, who shot dead Mahwish Arshad, was arrested and was handed over to police on 4-day physical remand.
