PSX: Bears heard growling in the bourse!

KARACHI: KSE-100 Index closed in the red (42,301) shedding 158 points on the week’s third trading day.

Rs. 2.9b worth of 77.5m shares were traded today. Value of the shares of 174 companies plummeted, 131 augmented while 27 remained stagnant.

Today’s top five traders of the shares were Faysal Bank Ltd.,  5.1m shares (-0.77pc) – incidentally Commercial Banks Sector traded 12.8m shares; First Dawood Investment Bank Ltd., 3.9m shares (-6.73pc); Unity Foods Ltd., 3.8m shares (-2.88pc); Engro Polymer & Chemicals Ltd., 3.5m shares (-0.89pc); Bank Of Punjab, 3.4m shares (-1.55pc).
