PSX: Activity by insurance companies enables bulls shoo the bears off!

KARACHI: Benchmark KSE-Index closed at 40,813 gaining 151 points. Rs. 5.02b worth of 96.7m shares changed hands today.

Value of the shares of 159 companies plummeted, 149 augmented while 28 remained stagnant.

The sector that led the trade today with more than 18.5m shares was Textile Composite.

Top five traders of shares today were: Azgard Nine, 13.5m shares (+2.23pc); TRG Pak Ltd.,  7.7m shares (+1.42pc); K-Electric Ltd., 5.8m shares (-0.37pc); Sui Northern Gas Ltd.,  5.6m shares (-0.74pc); Sui Southern Gas, 4.3m shares  (+2.90pc).
