Hockey: Hassan Sardar is the new chairman national selection committee

ISLAMABAD: In order to bring hockey out of abyss, it presently in, PHF President has today announced a new national selection committee with Hassan Sardar as the chairman.

Other members of the committee are Ayaz Mahmood and Syed Musaddiq Hussain.

Farhat Hassan Khan is the head coach, while Malik Mohammad Shafqat and Mohammad Sarwar will train the team till December 2018.

Pakistan’s former goalkeeper and captain Mansoor Ahmed who had played 338 international matches including three Olympics and won 1992 Olympic bronze while talking to NewsPakistan.tv has appreciated the move and said that inclusion of senior players would  help rejuvenate the hockey in the country.
