Handing of JIT report to SC shoosaway the bears from the bourse

KARACHI: The bourse moved a bit into the green today when gaining 186 points benchmark KSE-100 Index closed at 44,523 points.

Today 35 million shares of KSE-100 entities worth over three billion were bought and sold while in all 75 million shares were traded.

Stocks of 336 entities changed hands out of which 17 remained unchanged, 165 declined while others gained in value.

Today’s top five leaders were K-Electric Ltd., 5.7m shares (-0.30pc); Engro Polymer, 4.6m shares (-1.31pc); Dewan Motors, 4.3m shares (-4.85pc); TRG Pak Ltd., 3.5m shares (-0.17pc); B.O.Punjab, 8.2m shares (-3.01pc).
