SHANGLA (KP): Inferno that commenced on Thursday (7th of December) evening in the Gandorai forests here has spread over 700 acres, unabated due to strong wind.

Fire that had annihilated forests (, a couple of houses and a mosque) worth millions of rupees in Bisham, Kormang Gandorai and Hawalai, is still spreading despite efforts of some 200 forest Dept. personnel to contain it.

Sources privy to Newspakistan.tv have insinuated that the blaze was not accidental or natural but was deliberately set by land & timber mafia with the collusion of Forest Dept. employees.

Locals, while  talking to Newspakistan.tv have urged that a thorough and transparent investigation needed to be carried out to figure out who did it?
