PARIS: In order to contain the augmenting tensions, the Interior Ministry has said it would not allow Muslims pray on the streets!
According to details Union of Muslim Worship & Cultural Associations of Clichy-la-Garenne had been staging Friday prayers on the streets since March.
Then their mosque (a hall rented from the town) was transformed into a bibliothèque multimedia under the new mayor.
It is pertinent to mention here that the decision was taken following the skirmishes between Muslim namazis and authorities.
