CPEC is mega project for entire region: Yasinzai

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Wednesday said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a huge project to develop the overall economic growth of the entire region.
He was talking to German Consul General, Eugen Wolfarth, who called on him at Governor House. He said the CPEC project’s completion would make Pakistan’s center of economic, added that youth are equipped with modern professional skills in view of CPEC plan.
He said we would be able to cope with the challenge of the world through professional skills. Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai said Pakistan and Germany have good relation and both countries would be strengthened from mutual cooperation.
He said Balochistan was rich in natural resources and minerals. “There were vast opportunities for investments in the country including Balochistan”, he said and added that the security situation was better in the province and investors would be given full protection in order to come here for investment.
Governor said projects provided by Germany and the European Union for Balochistan including education, health, and agriculture sectors.
He said International organizations would cooperate with the provincial government for controlling underground water level, which was depleting at a fast pace in the area, added that they would provide skills to the new generation for adopting an advanced method for restoring underground water level in Balochistan.
