KARACHI: The 208th anniversary of one of the foremost poets of Dehli School of Urdu ghazal Meer Taqi Meer was observed today.
Meer, who wrote 13,585 couplets of ghazal, masnavi, qasida, rubai, mustezaad, satire is one of those poets who contributed enormously towards giving the shape Urdu is in today.
