Tax-fraud lands a Pakistani in US jail for 37 months

NEW YORK: US Federal Court here sentenced a Pakistani, Nisar Sahi, to 37 months in prison for trying to steal in tax refunds.

From 2011 till 2015 Sahi was systematically swindling Internal Revenue Service to get bogus tax returns.

According to reports he attempted to hoodwink IRS of $ 803,995.
