Raza Rabbani urges state institutions to respect their constitutional limits

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani has urged the state institutions to respect the constitutional limits and allow democracy to flourish in the country.

“All state institutions work under the Constitution, which provides for a trichotomy of power. This provision should be respected by every institution,” he said during a discussion while Senate was in session.

Rabbani further warned that “if any institution tries to exceed its domain, it will be damaging for the democratic process in the country”.
