Pakistan Chief of Naval Staff conferred with US Legion of Merit

WASHINGTON: United States Chief of Naval Operations Admiral John Richardson has awarded US Legion of Merit (LOM) to Pak Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah here at US Navy Yard during his US visit.

Admiral Zakaullah later called on Admiral Richardson in his Pentagon office during which a number of matters of bilateral collaboration and security were discussed.

Taking benefit of this opportunity Admiral Zakaullah expressed gratitude to Admiral Richardson for active US Navy participation in Pakistan Naval event AMAN-17. Richardson appreciated Pak Navy’s professionalism.

US armed forces’ award LOMIt is given for exceptionally meritorious conduct  in the performance of outstanding services & achievements.
