Contempt case: SSP operations Islamabad directed to arrest PTI chief, produce him on Sep 25

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered the SSP Operations to arrest the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and produce him before the commission on September 25.

The directives were issued following a contempt of court case against the PTI chief. The polls supervisory body has repeatedly asked Khan to appear before the commission.

On Thursday, the ECP had issued a bailable warrant for the arrest of Khan after he failed to personally appear before the polls supervisory body in the case.
