Arijit Singh all set to sing for Salman’s Tubelight

MUMBAI: Arijit Singh, the famous Bollywood singer, and songwriter, says that he is gonna sing for Salman Khan, again.

After his infamous public apology to Salman Khan and the controversy that followed, the singer is set to croon a song for Kabir Khan’s next Tubelight starring Dabangg star Salman Khan.

When asked about it, Arijit said, “Well, I will sing in ‘Tubelight’ again. But after that, what will happen I don’t know. But I will definitely sing because nobody can stop me from singing a song.”

Referring to Salman, he said: “The decision to take my song in his film depends on Salman. Yes! It’s up to him,” said the singer.

The 29-year-old had stirred the hornets’ nest by posting an apology to the Bollywood actor on his official social media account over some misunderstanding in an award function. Following the incident, Arijit’s song ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ in Sultan movie was replaced by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s version.

Arijit said he has not spoken to the Dabangg star after the controversy but hopes to do so in the future. “No, I didn’t speak to him. I didn’t get a chance to speak to him. Maybe, I’ll get a chance someday and then I will but I don’t think he takes these things that seriously. Everybody else made the matter serious,” he said.

Arijit also insisted that there are no ill feelings between the two and that the 50-year-old actor does not even pay heed to such things.

“There is no ill-will from his side either. He has a lot of work in his life, he is not bothered about such things. He works so hard and makes these films. We are entertained. Look at ‘Sultan’. It has created so much awareness about a lot of things. He has got nothing to do with this silly small thing,” he said.
